Paradise Station

Located near the town of Inverell, “Paradise” was acquired by Paraway in 2016 and, along with nearby “Newstead” and the “Burmah” aggregation, is a key component of Paraway’s strategy to deliver consistent, reliable supply of high quality produce to its customers.

Consisting of highly developed pastures and improved native grazing country, with significant on farm infrastructure including a reticulated stock water system to all paddocks, Paradise finishes a large portion of Paraway’s Angus and Wagyu turn off from its breeding enterprises in Central NSW, while also providing a grass finishing option for Northern cattle, as well as trade cattle and agistment for external clients.

At 6,434 ha, Paradise forms part of a proven high volume grass production system which, alongside sister property “Newstead”, is capable of producing over 3 million kilograms of beef per annum. Located at 1100m above sea level with consistently high rainfall, the quality red and black basalt soils are typical of the tablelands country type of the area.

The three properties in Paraway’s New England portfolio are under the management of Nick Wood, Group Manager Finishing, who is based at Newstead.
